Employment and Training

Finding a job or apprenticeship can seem daunting but with the right research and preparation you can be successful!

The Guidance Centre (F30a) has lots of resources and information about the different types of work available, and how to apply. Phil Nelson and Laura Gibbons can offer information, advice and guidance about employment, and can also offer CV checking and mock interviews.

There is a job shop held in the Guidance Centre every Friday lunchtime, between 12:30-2:30pm, which all students are welcome to attend. Information about local job opportunities is available, alongside CV writing help and general advice.
