This course develops the skills and knowledge needed in an admin role. If you are already responsible for a number of standard admin tasks in your work, this course will build on your skills and experience.
Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (NCFE Level 2) 
Start: 17.09.08 (for 36 teaching weeks)
Time: Wednesday, 6.00pm - 9.00pm
Cost: £300 full course fee, Concessions available
This course is for anyone who wants to develop the skills to work as a teaching assistant. It will look at all aspects of the role including managing behaviour and supporting the teacher. You may be a volunteer within a school or already employed and want to gain a qualification to support your work. The course requires you to do a work placement.
Childcare - Certificate in Developing Skills for Early Years Practice (NCFE Level 2) 
Start: 17.09.08 (for 34 teaching weeks)
Time: Wednesday, 6.00pm - 8.30pm
Cost: £200 full course fee, Concessions available
This course gives you the skills and confidence to work with young children in a wide variety of settings including as a nursery or pre-school assistant. It will give you a solid foundation of knowledge and practical skills that will equip you for the workplace. A work placement is a requirement of the course.
Science - Human Physiology and Health GCSE

Cost: £100 full course fee, Concessions available
The course is ideal for anyone interested in taking up careers in health and social care, sports and teaching. You will look at how humans function and their place within the living world, how humans sometimes go wrong and what can be done to improve health. It?s a very hands-on subject and there will be practical work as well as theory.
