Longley Park Sixth Form College provider access policy

Longley Park is committed to providing all students with comprehensive and impartial advice and guidance regarding progression routes beyond College.

Student entitlement

 All students are entitled

  • To find out about academic, applied and technical educational qualifications and apprenticeship opportunities
  • To take part in a careers programme which provides information on the full range of education and training options available at the end of their programme of study
  • To hear from a range of national and local providers about the opportunities they offer, including academic and applied study, technical education and apprenticeships, through whole college and curriculum area careers events, academic tutorial programme, visits and taster events
  • To understand how to make applications for the full range of academic, applied and technical courses and apprenticeships

Opportunities for access

The College runs a number of events throughout the year when providers can come in to College to speak to students
