If you have applied to LPSF we wanted to say thank you.  We were excited to be able to meet you at interview but due to the current restrictions, we have decided to conduct all interviews over the phone.

Telephone interviews are taking place over a 2-week period from Monday 1st February, between 3-6pm.

If you managed to get your application to us by Friday 22nd of January, then you will be part of our “Wave 1” phone interviews as above.  You will be contacted via letter, text and message via Sheffield Progress (if this is the way you applied to us). If you have not managed to apply by this date then do not worry. There will be a “Wave 2” of phone interviews which will take place after the February half term.

The interview will be conducted by our staff and it is not something for you to worry about. It will be an informal chat to discuss the course(s) that you have applied for, to make sure that you have chosen the correct course and that it links to your future plans. We will also ask you to confirm your details and if you have any learning difficulties, disabilities, medical needs or special access arrangements for exams. Where appropriate, another member of the LPSF team may call you back on a separate day to discuss any identified needs further with you and your parent/carer, if required. We do offer parents/carers the option of supporting their child at the interview stage so please ask your parent/carer to join you if you wish.

Please continue to check your Sheffield Progress account to keep up to date and make sure your contact number is correct,  follow LPSF on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We also have course related taster work on our website www.longleypark.ac.uk under “Next Steps”. This will give you an idea of what to expect from your chosen course.

We are sorry that we can’t meet you in person at this time, but we are excited to welcome you into the Sixth Form, when it is safe to do so.
