Parents' and Carers' Event - Reset, engage and succeed

As we start 2022 we have 14 weeks until the final assessment window starts. For many students, this will be the first formal assessment window that they have experienced due to COVID and TAGs/CAGs.

We want to make sure that every student is working as hard as possible and getting all the support they need to be successful to help them transition to their next step.

We are hosting an online webinar on the support that the Sixth Form is putting into place, as well as how you can support your son/daughter at home through these final few weeks next Monday at 5pm.

Some key messages will be around:

• Support on offer to help students with missed learning
• How we are assessing students and how you can help support at home
• Progression expectations
• students currently at L1 and L2 need to achieve at least a Merit for automatic progression
• students are expected to have at least 95% attendance (from January) for automatic progression
• Exam support (both at the Sixth Form and at home)
