Our opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, highly motivated and specialist teacher of Health and Social Care to support our vision to transform lives of young people in the North Sheffield. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher with a strong occupational background. They will be able to use their industry experience, ambition and drive to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of our learners in readiness for their next steps.

The successful candidate will join a strong and committed team of specialist teachers and assessors in a vibrant, inclusive, and ambitious 16-19 environment. You will be provided with a programme of professional development that will enable you to continue to develop your craft in a sixth form that is highly focused on staff wellbeing.

The successful candidate will possess a genuine enthusiasm for their subject, and an ability to motivate, inspire and engage young people to equip them with the skills and expertise to achieve excellent outcomes. A proven track record of achieving good or outstanding results is ideal, though we also welcome applications from ECTs.

Longley Park Sixth Form is a highly inclusive 16-19 Academy in the North East of Sheffield. In 2017 we became part of Brigantia Learning Trust, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression.
