Details

Our A Level Politics students follow the AQA specification. There are three units which cover on British and American political institutions as well as Political Ideologies. You will learn about how political systems work, who holds power and how change is created. You will also learn about the role of the individual in political debate.

Our Politics students benefit from a close partnership with Sheffield University and are able to take part in bespoke lectures and seminars to support their studies. They also have the opportunity to meet those who work in the political world including members of parliament and political campaigners.

Politics students are also able to take part in our Humanities visit to the Houses of Parliament and to a range of museum exhibitions relevant to specific areas of the course.

A number of specifications will be changing and prospectus entries are based on information we have to date. This means that course content may be subject to change.
