🌺🕊️ Longley Remembers: A Moving Tribute 🕊️🌺
In honour of Remembrance Day on Sunday, we invited our staff and students to join us in a moment of silence on Friday at 11 am. It was a time for reflection, gratitude, and collective remembrance.
As part of our Longley Remembers event, we were privileged to host Vos from the Unite the Union Brass Band. With great reverence, Vos played the hauntingly beautiful Last Post, creating a poignant atmosphere that resonated through the sixth form.
This act of remembrance serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made for our freedom. Let us unite in silence, acknowledging the bravery and resilience of those who have shaped our history.
