As a Sixth Form, we are all about providing an amazing place for 16–19 year-olds to study. It is a place to meet new friends from lots of different backgrounds, to work with people who share your passion for your chosen subjects and provide you with the opportunity to develop new skills contribute to an ambitious, caring and vibrant community. Most importantly, it is a place to take control of your future, make your own decisions and shape your next steps.
Choosing where to study after GCSEs is always a big decision. This year it might feel even harder because we have all experienced such an unusual time. Your studies will have been disrupted, you will have spent time out of school, and you will have missed your friends and teachers. I hope that you have been able to keep up with your subjects through online learning and that you have had plenty of advice about what to do next.
Normally at this time we can invite you into the building, to meet your teachers and get a taste of what sixth form life is really like. With the extension of the guidelines we are not able to do this but please be reassured that your place at the sixth form is secure.
