The AAQ’s in Applied and Medical Science are taught with A Level Physics to give a balance of Vocational and A level Sciences. The A Level Physics is taught in a supported way with additional resources to help learners succeed.
Learners will study applied science units alongside physics-focused modules. Core topics include mechanics, waves, electricity, and energy systems, integrated with biology and chemistry concepts to provide a comprehensive scientific foundation. The course emphasizes practical experiments, quantitative analysis, and the application of physics in medical and health-related contexts. Students will also explore areas such as medical imaging, radiation physics, and the role of physical principles in diagnostics and treatment technologies.
