You will develop the ability to communicate confidently in written and spoken Spanish with a high level of grammatical accuracy.

The topics studied will build on your GCSE and move you towards speaking Spanish fluently and cover:
- Education and employment in Spain and the Spanish speaking world
- Family life in Spanish culture
- Literature and film of Spain
- Media
- Equality and Diversity in the Spanish speaking world
You will work in a supportive learning environment where small group tasks build your confidence and teaching staff provide all the help and encouragement you need to excel. You will have dedicated time each week to practice your conversations skills with a fluent speaker.

100% examination: Oral assessment (30%), listening, reading and translation (50%), writing (20%)
