Overview

This course is the equivalent to 2 A Levels and must be studied alongside another A Level or A level equivalent.

This course allows you to discover various topics around health and social care.  Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn about the specific roles and professions within the health and social care sector as well as their individual responsibilities.  

You will learn about how we grow and develop as humans, from conception through childhood, into adulthood and finally old age.

Assignments are based on realistic workplace scenarios to further support your awareness of the expectations of working in health and social care. Furthermore, work experience is an essential part of the course and will give you an opportunity to practice skills and work alongside other professionals.
