This course covers health, care of older people, individuals with specific needs and also early years (care and education). You will find out about the different client groups and how they are supported in different health and social care settings. This course includes essential work placement so you develop practical skills and work alongside health and social care professionals.
Themes covered in this course:
Year 1: One externally assessed exam unit and one internally assessed assignment unit.
Year 2: One externally assessed exam unit and one internally assessed assignment unit.
This course is usually studied with at least 2 other A-level equivalent subjects at Level 3.
