The Medical Science AAQ is a Level 3 Applied Advanced Qualification designed for students with an interest in healthcare, laboratory science and biomedical science. Students will study a range of applied science and medical science units, which may include:

Principles of medical science and human biology

Scientific investigation and laboratory techniques

Disease, diagnosis and treatment


How will it be delivered?

The course is delivered through a mixture of exams and assignments.

There are two unitised exams distributed through the two-year course.

For coursework‑based units students will be assessed through laboratory reports, investigations and written assignments.
